By CCN: Sore-loser Democrats have been trying to delegitimize President Donald Trump ever since his upset electoral victory in 2016.
The latest salvo from the Democrats comes in the form of New York Attorney General-elect Letitia James. She announced broad-ranging investigations into not only President Donald Trump but also Trump’s family and “anyone in his orbit”.
LETITIA JAMES IS ALREADY A DISGRACE TO HER OFFICE
Letitia James told NBC News:
“We will use every area of the law to investigate President Trump and his business transactions and that of his family as well…we want to investigate anyone in his orbit who has, in fact, violated the law… taking on President Trump and looking at all of the violations of law I think is no match to what I have seen in my lifetime.”
Were there any other president in office, the American people and the media would be up in arms over incoming New York Attorney General Letitia James‘ statements. If Mueller didn’t find anything, why does she think she will?
NEW YORK’S AG IS CHASING GHOSTS AND ANTI-TRUMP DREAMS
Perhaps Attorney General James is basing her investigations on a New York Times article from last October, which purportedly examined Donald Trump’s financial dealings. What neither Letitia James nor the Times will admit are that Trump’s deals have been subjected to scrutiny for decades.
Or maybe she is relying on yet another New York Times hit piece, regarding government subsidies that Donald Trump has received.
Nobody raised an eyebrow at the billions in government handouts to Elon Musk, so why is there a double standard regarding Donald Trump?
New York Attorney General Letitia James said she’s further going to look into the 2016 meeting that occurred at Trump Tower with a Russian official. There was nothing illegal about this meeting, and if there had been, Mueller would’ve indicted the president.
James also said she would also launch an investigation regarding whether or not Trump is in violation of the emoluments clause in the U.S. Constitution, intended to prevent federal officers from receiving anything of value from a foreign country.
Again, had Mueller found anything that he could’ve indicted the president for, he would’ve done so. Likewise, because Mueller’s investigation was so exhaustive, anything that might fall under state jurisdiction would already have been referred to the New York State Attorney General’s office.
DEMOCRATS ARE MORALLY BANKRUPT AND STUCK IN THE PAST
Democrats keep trying to nail President Donald Trump, by employing dirty tricks and breaking every moral and ethical code in doing so. Therein lies the lesson for all political observers.
Instead of pushing policy proposals for 2020 and looking forward, the Democrats are hopelessly mired in the past, constantly trying to undo the election. When that doesn’t work, Democrats repeatedly try and fail to discredit him.
Why don’t the Democrats just give up the ghost and put all of their momentum behind a strong candidate for the next election?
Because the Democratic Party is fundamentally bankruptwhen it comes to policy.
That’s why they constantly have to lie about their plans. That’s why former President Obama had to lie to sell Obamacare. Democrat policies are terrible for America, and they don’t work. Not only that, they usually have exactly the opposite result that they believe they will have.
That’s why the only strategy Democrats have is to try destroy President Donald Trump through endless and pointless investigations. Without a crime, they’ll have to debate him in the realm of facts – an arena they have no success in.
