Santander banking giant that runs on Ripple’s technology for instant payments without XRP use is to host a payment service term PagoFX Ripple is going through series of development as the influence of its partnerships which different brands yield good fruits. Santander recently released its report for the third quarter of 2019. The Spanish-based banking giant announced that its new payment service PagoFX will be used for international money transfer as it is going to work in the UK and EU.
A prominent crypto enthusiast and analysts @XrpCenter believes PagoFX is going to run on the Ripple network. He took to his twitter page and stated: “October 30, 2019,@bancosantander released Financial Report for 3Q 2019. Santander created “Santander Global Platform”, an internal Global unit that will host @PagoFx. It was previously reported that Money Tap, a Japanese payment app set up by the Japanese SBI financial giant and Ripple that is powered by XRPL had partnered with Japanese PayPay service, it has been confirmed that XRPL will be used for the partnership. Currently, PayPay has about 10 million user-base and it works with about 1 million merchants all over Japan.
Previously, in August 2019, it was reported that Santander grew its use of Ripple’s xCurrent product to a One Pay FX mobile app. It was used to develop a “payment corridor” to Latin America Countries.
