Cardano ADA News Today – While the entire Cardano community has been waiting for the Cardano Shelley update since last year, everything became more real when Charles Hoskinson said that Shelley rollout will begin on the 29th of June. It’s been a long road for the Cardano development team and the Cardano community but it’s all going to be worth it since Shelley will make Cardano the first blockchain computer in the world to be 100% decentralized. This is something that even Ethereum has been unable to achieve despite all the support it’s been receiving.
Right after the Cardano Shelley mainnet launch is completed, the new decentralized era will begin. The network will be decentralized because it would be operating through independent network node operators. The Cardano development team has been making working on this decentralized era for many years. As expected, there were many delays along the way. This led to the network being heavily criticized by the cryptocurrency community. This year, however, the team assured everyone that the Cardano Shelley upgrade will be released this year unfailingly. Hoskinson vowed to resign and become a monk if the Cardano Shelley network doesn’t go live this year.

Hoskinson said that the primary reason why the Cardano Shelley mainnet launch has taken so much time is that they want to get it right the first time. He said that the Cardano blockchain is based on a scientific theory that emphasizes on thorough research. In his words;
“Good software needs accountability, clear business requirements, repeatable processes, thorough testing, and tireless iteration. The point of science is to remove human beings from the process, and to follow a systematic way of thinking so that you can resolve the problems.”
As you can already see, the price of the Cardano ADA token has been primarily bullish for the last few months. Right after Hoskinson announced that Cardano Shelley will be released on the 29th of June, the token has surged by more than 65%. Two days ago, the price of the token moved as high as $0.0850 before it started facing rejection. Yesterday, the price recovered again but the recovery was short-lived. Cardano ADA is now trading at $0.079204. It is down by 2.69% against the USD but up by 3.27% against the price of Bitcoin BTC. The trading volume over a 24 hour period is $525,846,646 and the market capitalization is $2,053,533,542. The Cardano ADA token might either move higher to the $0.1016 level or fall to the $0.0580 level after the Cardano Shelley mainnet launch.
